This morning we participated in the Boise Buddy Walk which was a one mile walk from the Capitol building downtown to Julia Davis Park. The goal of the event was to raise awareness for Down Syndrome. Our coworker and friend Sara Mitton is a co-chair for the event and has a brother with Down Syndrome, "Bergie". We were part of "Bergie's Brigade" and really enjoyed getting to attend the event. It was FREEZING cold, but was nice to get out and learn more about people with Down Syndrome.
