Father's Day
Last weekend we celebrated Father's Day with CJ's Dad. On Sunday we started by going to a Classic Car Show which was held in downtown Boise. The weather looked like it was going to rain, but we ended up having a nice sunny mid-morning. We enjoyed a couple blocks worth of classic cars and got to see CJ's Dad checking out all of the great cars he loves. It was fun to hear the stories of the "classics" he has owned throughout his life.
After the car show, we took a mini-road trip out to a cherry orchard in Emmett, Idaho. We each got little buckets and headed into the orchard to hand pick some fresh cherries. I think some of us actually ate more cherries off the tree than actually made it in our buckets, but it was a lot of fun. At one point, the entire family (sans Nona) was engaged in a pit spitting war. It was hilarious and fun to just let loose a little bit.
